DEWALT 20V MAX* POWERSTACK™ Compact Battery

A job was assigned to BaltiVirtual by Stanley Black and Decker, a company showcasing a new portable compact battery design. The company’s headquarters are located in Towson, Maryland, just north of Baltimore. BaltiVirtual was hired to develop an A.R. (augmented reality) app to visually convey the appearance of the new compact design to customers. BaltiVirtual was sent a CAD model which required editing, optimizing and new U.V. texture map coordinates for acceptable performance as an animated asset in a real-time mobile display. Edits and re-construction were done with 3ds Max and textures developed in Substance Painter.
